Laura Desmarais

Laura began her career as an industrial psychologist working in human resources at IBM. Moving to this area in 1995, Laura is now a full-time volunteer and has been involved in a wide variety of community service activities, starting with the local schools and the Girl Scouts. More recently, she has spearheaded the opening of, and now runs, Round Rock Preserve in New Castle; sits on the Vestry of St. Stephen’s Church in Armonk as head of Mission & Outreach; and serves on the Board of Regents of Georgetown University. Joining the Pantry Board in 2014, Laura has held several leadership positions including president. Currently, she serves as the Chair of Advocacy and oversees data analytics.
