Sharon is now in her third term as President of the Pantry’s Board, following a year as Co-President. A graduate of Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas with a BA in math and physics, Sharon joined IBM right after graduation, starting a forty-one-year career in IBM Sales, Consulting, and Services before retiring. Sharon is a longtime member of Bedford Presbyterian Church, having served as an elder. Sharon has a passion for all things food-related including gardening, cooking, and eating, and is committed to addressing food and nutrition insecurity issues to ensure that everyone has access to the goodness of nutritious, delicious food.
